It gives me great pleasure to inform you; we will be hosting our 13th annual Dinner Dance & “Jolly Stars Nite” on Saturday 3rd December 2005 in Krishjon Social Club, South End Road, London E6 2AA at 7.00.p.m. We would expect your continued support and please make every effort to attend the function.

You may recall at the last Annual General Meeting which was held on 2nd October 2005 members raised the issue to set up a fund to provide financial help to the grand children of our well loved, former teacher and Vice Principal Mr K.Sivaramalingam, who passed away on 25th August 2005. This idea was prompted by many members to relieve the financial hardship faced by his grandchildren in order to complete their university education.

His grandchildren were solely dependant upon him for their education expenses and he was there only sustenance. Our distinguished old boy Dr M.Vetpillai has agreed to co-ordinate this activity and if anyone wants to contribute towards this fund or require further details, please contact him on 020 8204 4623. This fund collection will not be part of the JHC OBA (UK) and will be operated separately, solely for this purpose. But any individual member who wishes to do so can contact Dr M.Vetpillai.

May I also take this opportunity to inform you we have already booked the venue for the annual cultural function Kalaiarasi 2006, as usual in our preferred location where all the facilities are available and everybody can enjoy the event.

This function will be held on Saturday 1st July 2006 in Walthamstow Assembley Hall, Forest Road, London E17 4JA.

Please make a note of this important date.
